WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Ionic Fuel Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: IFTI) today announced it successfully applied its proprietary "IFT System" to the incineration of toxic industrial gases.
The toxic industrial gases, such as volatile organic compounds or VOC's, are produced in a wide array of industrial processes. Toxic industrial gases are passed through an incinerator and burnt to prevent release into the atmosphere. However, this combustion process can often produce carbon monoxide (CO) above the current United Kingdom environmental standard of 100 milligrams per cubic meter (mg/m3).
