Sep. 28--Wired Digital -- the new media leg of the former high-tech publishing company -- is getting ready to stand on its own feet.
The company plans to relaunch its HotBot search engine tomorrow in a bid to refocus the entire business behind the division.
It's Wired Digital's first big move since it sold off its flagship magazine, Wired, to Conde Nast in May for an estimated $80 million.
Previously known for its hip glossy magazine on the digital lifestyle niche, Wired Digital is hoping to leverage its tech expertise from its family of Web sites to solidify a core base of Web-savvy users, and ...
