MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Metropolitan Visiting Nurse Association (MVNA) staff will vaccinate Minneapolis city officials at City Hall Friday, October 5, 1998, 11:30 a.m., to kick-off the 1998 Flu season in the Twin Cities metro area. At the full Council meeting, Council vice president Joe Biernat will also introduce a resolution to designate October as "Flu Shot Month" in Minneapolis. Minneapolis officials are participating in an effort to urge community members to protect their health and the health of others by availing themselves of influenza immunization at a location convenient to them.
