FORT WORTH, Texas and LEVERKUSEN, Germany, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Nestle S.A., Vevey (Switzerland), on behalf of its Alcon affiliates, and Bayer AG, Leverkusen (Germany), today signed an agreement by which Alcon obtains an exclusive worldwide license from Bayer for all ciprofloxacin and ciprofloxacin combination otic (ear) products. The agreement includes the recently FDA- approved Cipro(R) HC Otic (ciprofloxacin HCl and hydrocortisone otic suspension), a new anti-infective/anti-inflammatory product for the ear, which will be manufactured for Alcon at Bayer's plant in Myerstown, Pennsylvania.
