CHATSWORTH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 2, 1998--Natrol Inc. (NASDAQ: NTOL) Friday announced it has completed the acquisition of the assets and business of the Laci Le Beau Corp. of Fresno, Calif. and certain related entities, pursuant to an agreement signed last month.
Laci Le Beau sales for the 12 months ending June 30, 1998, were approximately $7.2 million with unaudited pre-tax profits reaching approximately 20% of sales. Natrol, a manufacturer and distributor of nationally branded dietary supplements sold through health, food, drug and mass market channels, paid $7.5 million for the business.
