FRANKFURT, Germany, Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- In a move that will dramatically accelerate the nascent electronic book industry, NuvoMedia, Inc. and Sharp Corporation have teamed up to co-develop Rocket eBook compatible electronic readers. This strategic partnership will make the NuvoMedia Rocket eBook Distribution System the emerging standard for electronic books. The partnership was announced by Martin F. Eberhard, NuvoMedia's cofounder and CEO, during a press conference at the Frankfurt Book Fair. Specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
