Say Microsoft Case is a Waste of Taxpayer Dollars

WASHINGTON, Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- By an overwhelming majority, American citizens believe the government's pursuit of Microsoft is a waste of taxpayer dollars, according to the results of a poll released jointly today by the Technology Access Action Coalition (TAAC) and Citizens Against Government Waste (CAGW). The poll, commissioned by TAAC and conducted by Wirthlin Worldwide from September 11 - 14, 1998, surveyed over 1,000 Americans about their opinions on topics including the Department of Justice's suit against Microsoft and the impact of the technology industry on the U.S. economy.
