POTOMAC, Md., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Fidelity Investor, the independent mutual fund investment advisory service on mutual funds offered by Fidelity Investments, the largest mutual fund company in the United States, has acquired subscribers of a competitive service, Fidelity Forecaster. Fidelity Forecaster's former publisher, the Institute of Econometric Research (Deerfield Beach, Fla.), which was recently purchased by Time Inc., is concentrating on its flagship publication, Mutual Funds magazine. All Fidelity Forecaster subscribers will now receive Fidelity Investor, edited by Jim Lowell. This marks a significant consolidation in Fidelity-oriented newsletter services.
