DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 9, 1998--Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) today announced record traffic results for September 1998.
The airline carried 123,782 passengers during September 1998, a 21.7 percent increase from September 1997. Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) increased to 112,814,000 for September 1998, an increase of 31.5 percent from the same period last year. Available seat miles (ASMs) increased to 199,371,000 for September 1998, an increase of 15.0 percent from the same period last year. The load factor for September 1998 was 56.6 percent, up 7.1 points from September 1997, when the airline reported a load factor of 49.5.
