JOHANNESBURG: -- Lucent Technologies South Africa has signed a partnership agreement with Kwezi Investments that will enable the two companies, inter alia, to establish a local manufacturing company for telecommunications equipment components.
The facility would initially manufacture components for DECT and TDMA Wireless Local Loop Systems required by Lucent for the rollout of the Telkom DECT project.
