Oct. 20--DENTON, Texas--FORT WORTH FIRM ACQUIRES DENTON INSURANCY AGENCY: Higginbotham & Associates, a fast-growing Fort Worth insurance brokerage, has acquired Denton Insurance Center, which has more than 4,000 customers in and around Denton.
Denton Insurance, established in 1970, will retain its name and will continue to offer business and personal insurance and financial services. Terms were not disclosed.
It is Higginbotham's third acquisition since 1992. The firm merged with Thomas M. Ryan & Co. in 1992 and merged with the Dickerson, Llewellyn & Fitzgerald Agency in 1996.
