ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Progressive (NYSE: PGR), the state's third largest auto insurer, announced a two-and-a-half percent rate decrease in the Orlando area. The reduction was announced by Jose Benitez, Progressive's Central Florida General Manager.
In announcing the cut, Benitez credited the company's 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week, Immediate Response(R) claims service and favorable accident trends as the leading reasons why the company was dropping rates.
