CHICAGO, Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Saint Xavier University today announced it will proceed with plans to build a new university chapel and will name the chapel in honor of the family of Mr. & Mrs. James J. McDonough. Mr. McDonough is a former chairman of the University's Board of Trustees.

The new McDonough Chapel will be built on Saint Xavier University's Main Campus in Chicago. The university plans to begin construction of the new chapel next spring and hopes to complete it during 1999, just in time to welcome the new millennium.
