SACRAMENTO, Calif., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The Governor's Office of Emergency Services (OES) today launched California Winter Weather and Flood Preparedness Week, October 26-30. OES has joined together with the Department of Water Resources (DWR), National Weather Service (NWS), and other agencies to urge Californians to "Be Winter Wise" and take the personal initiative to become actively involved in preparedness measures in light of the risk of winter storms.
