MURRAY HILL, N.J. - Lucent Technologies said today that Lucent and Royal Philips Electronics plan on ending their joint venture, Philips Consumer Communications (PCC).
Royal Philips Electronics, which owned 60 percent of the venture, and Lucent, which owned 40 percent, each will regain control of its original businesses during November. The venture was originally formed October 1, 1997.
