ICL South Africa's (SA) policy of increasing its 'black empowerment shareholding' has received a substantial boost. Thebe Industrial Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of investment company Thebe Investment Corporation, has increased its stake in ICL SA Pty Ltd from 10% to 40% through a capital injection of R100 million (approximately GBP 10 million). ICL SA has also announced its intention to seek a listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange within the next three years.
