FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The Lockheed Martin Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) team has completed a key pilot-in-the-loop simulation exercise testing the integration of certain components of the innovative avionics system for the next generation fighter aircraft.
During a two-week period ending in late September, the simulations were performed at the Pico Rivera, Calif., Force Level Laboratory of Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC). Northrop Grumman is a principal JSF teammate to Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), and the two companies are combining their strengths in simulators and sensor integration on this program.
