CONCORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 27, 1998--SolidWorks Corporation, the leading provider of cost-effective, easy-to-use production solid modeling solutions for the mainstream design-centric market, today announced the immediate availability of a feature-based Converter for files created using Pro/Engineer. The conversion utility, developed by Geometric Software Services Company Limited, provides direct translation of part files including feature information created with Pro/Engineer into the SolidWorks solid modeling software environment.
