U S WEST Communications Services, Inc. to Provide Installation to
Second Largest Community College District in the United States
Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD), headquartered in Tempe, Arizona has chosen NEC America, Inc's. (NEC) NEAX(R)2400 IMX (Integrated Multimedia eXchange) and NEAX(R)2000 IVS (Integrated Voice Server) communications systems to upgrade and expand the communications network throughout the district. MCCCD, a customer of NEC since the installation of 10 NEAX2400 PBXs in the late 1980's, awarded the contract for implementation to U S WEST Communications Services, Inc.
