Oct. 25--As Greg Babbitt waited for traffic to move on a crowded highway in a densely populated Middle Eastern city, he saw a man on the side of the road, riding a camel and talking on a cellular phone.
The scene illustrated the demand for modern telecommunications, even in cultures with old-world ways.
