PEABODY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 1998--ScanSoft Inc., a Xerox Company, has teamed with The Boston Red Sox to create digital baseball cards and photographs with the children at the Jimmy Fund Clinic using ScanSoft's award-winning Pagis Pro 2.0 scanning software and equipment donated by ScanSoft.

Using a digital camera, ScanSoft representatives took pictures of the children with their favorite players: Tim Wakefield, Darren Bragg and Scott Hatteberg. The photo editing capabilities of Pagis Pro were then used create digital baseball cards and magazine covers and to capture photos of the players autographing baseballs for the children.
