KANSAS CITY, Mo. Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- AMC Entertainment Inc. (Amex: AEN), one of the world's leading theatrical exhibition companies, has announced that it will build an 18-screen theatre megaplex adjacent to the Holiday Inn hotel in Toyohashi, Japan.

The AMC Holiday Inn 18 Theatre, scheduled to open in mid-summer 1999, is the latest example of the megaplex concept developed by AMC. The 18-screen megaplex will offer moviegoers the finest customer amenities and the most dynamic screen presentation available, along with a greater choice of films and viewing times.
