NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The New Orleans land-based casino project emerged from bankruptcy today. Documents were signed this morning in New York by all parties to the project, including representatives from Jazz Casino Company, LLC, the new owner and operator of the casino, Harrah's New Orleans Management Company (a New Orleans subsidiary of Harrah's Entertainment, Inc.), the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, the City of New Orleans and the bondholders. Notice to proceed will be sent to the general contractors to restart construction of the casino facility that is located in downtown New Orleans. ...
