Nov. 1--1998'S BEEN A VERY BUSY YEAR IN COMPAQ'S NEIGHBORHOOD: Compaq Computer Corp. does more than just make personal computers. It also helps generate a lot of development near its headquarters in northwest Harris County.
For example: The Park River project, located on the northern boundary of Compaq's main campus.
Throughout 1998, two hotels, an apartment project and a retail center were under development or were recently completed in Park River.
