SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 1998--Symmetricom (Nasdaq:SYMM), a worldwide leader in synchronization, timing and location for telecommunications, today announced the dedication of a center for advanced research and development of new technology based on the Company's proprietary PowerHelix(TM) antenna design.
The Centre for Mobile Communications Research (CMCR), based at Loughborough University in the U.K., will focus on ceramic antenna technology developed at Symmetricom's Northampton facility.
