(Nasdaq: SPSS), a worldwide leader in analytical software, today announced results for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 1998: net revenues of $29.6 million (up 11 percent from $26.6 million in the third quarter of 1997) and diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.36 (up 50 percent from an adjusted EPS of $0.24 in the third quarter of 1997). Analysts' consensus estimate for SPSS' third quarter of 1998 earnings was $0.35 per share.
