MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 1998--Zenith Goldline Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a subsidiary of IVAX Corporation, donated pharmaceuticals with a market value of $1.4 million to the government of the Dominican Republic to aid victims of Hurricane Georges, the company announced today.

The pharmaceuticals were shipped from Zenith Goldline's Walton, Kentucky distribution center to Miami International Airport on October 16. The Consulate of the Dominican Republic working with U.S. Air Freight made transportation arrangements.
