SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 1998--Packard Bell NEC, a leading provider of easy-to-use, full-featured computers for the home and family, teams up with LEGO Media International as a sponsor of the LEGO Chess Challenge, a computer chess tournament to be held this Saturday, Nov. 7, at the U.S. Chess Center in downtown Washington D.C.
Forty children will compete using LEGO Media's LEGO Chess CD-ROM loaded on Packard Bell Multimedia computers in the LEGO Chess Challenge.
