NEW YORK and PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- TheStreet.com, a leading online investment news publication, and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX), have filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for approval to trade TheStreet.com Internet Sector.

TheStreet.com Internet Sector will track the performance of twenty Internet companies and will be equal-dollar weighted, meaning that the performance of both large and small companies on the index will be represented equally. Susquehanna Investment Group, one of the world's largest independent proprietary trading firms, will serve as a specialist firm for options based on the index.
