Nov. 6--Jubilation reigns in your household.
You just came back from the pinon trees in Huerfano County. You have about 100 pounds of the goodies you hope to enjoy for the next year.
"But how?" you may ask.
You get almost as many different answers as the number of people you ask.
Don't toss a coin and take a chance of getting a bunch of mush out of the freezer -- or rancid, wormy nut shells if you store them raw at room temperature.
It seems the pinon nut is much like the peanut -- except more tasty -- with even more fat than the cashew.
