Seeming to swim against the current, AdOne Classified Network has sold access to its newspaper-supplied ads to theglobe.com -- a watershed in the battle to bring eyeballs to newspaper-generated classifieds on-line. Theglobe.com has 1.9 million members, AdOne about 400 affiliate newspapers. The link between the two New York-based companies is a plus for newspapers, says Richard Bassler, vice president and general manager of AdOne. Its Classified Warehouse ads are drawn from newspapers.
