Nov. 9--PETLAND BRINGS LITTER OF STUFF TO HAMPTON: Petland opened Saturday in the Hampton Towne Centre at Big Bethel and Hampton Center Parkway.
Owned by Hampton native Tammy Benson and her mother, Shirley Benson-Kazleman, the 5,000-square-foot store is the only Petland in Hampton Roads, Benson said. And the place is crawling with cute.
Forty-five registered puppies set the pace -- everything from miniature pinschers to bull mastiffs. Kittens come next -- Himalayan, Siamese and more.
