ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--November 11, 1998--Carl F. Zellers, Jr., 66, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of FECI, announced today his intentions to retire to pursue leisure interests after a 48 plus year career, the last 31 of which have been at FECI.
In a special meeting, the board of directors of Florida East Coast Industries, Inc. (FECI) (NYSE:FLA) elected Robert W. Anestis, 53, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company effective January 1, 1999.
