GLEN ALLEN, Va., Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Progressive (NYSE: PGR), one of the state's largest auto insurers, is reducing its overall rates in Virginia, announced David J. Skove, Progressive's general manager for Virginia. The latest decrease, representing an average of three percent, is effective today. It is expected to result in reduced rates for approximately three out of four of Progressive's current policyholders in Virginia.
