ANNAPOLIS, Md., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Maryland Secretary of Agriculture Henry A. Virts, D.V.M., today announced that cost-share assistance of 50 percent -- up to $3 an acre -- is now available through the Maryland Agricultural Water Quality Cost-Share Program (MACS) to farmers who hire a private, non-government consultant to develop their nutrient management plan.
