BRISBANE, Cal.-Widening distribution while protecting brand value is the goal of cable and accessory manufacturer Monster Cable Products Inc.
A host of consumer electronics manufacturers -- particularly high-end audio/video operations -- now sell Monster's products and partake in the company's two programs, the M4 program, which trains salespeople on how to sell add-on products, and the M4 Manager's Workshop, which trains mid-managers to motivate their salespeople.
The company this year added an array of larger chains, including The Good Guys!, Sound Advice, Magnolia Hi-Fi, Ultimate Electronics, Dow Stereo/Video and Tweeter Etc.
