By Mike McNulty TALLADEGA, Ala.--Syna-Flex Rubber Products Co. Inc. has upgraded its operation and expanded its capacity by purchasing two rubber mills and a large milling machine for its in-house tooling department.
The cost of the additions, along with some improvements to its building and grounds, is about $200,000, according to Syna-Flex President Vernon Gibson.
``We are constantly updating our operation,'' he said. ``We'll have spent over $1.5 million in this decade on equipment.'' The expenditures are aimed at improving service, versatility and capability.
