Agreement Covers Development and Commercialization of tgAAV-CF
SEATTLE, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Targeted Genetics Corporation (Nasdaq: TGEN) and Medeva PLC (NYSE: MDV) today announced the formation of a collaboration to develop and commercialize tgAAV-CF, Targeted Genetics' potential gene therapy product for the treatment of cystic fibrosis (CF). The tgAAV-CF product candidate uses Targeted Genetics' proprietary adeno-associated virus (AAV) technology to deliver a normal copy of the CFTR gene to patients with CF.
