ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 24, 1998--W.G. (Mickey) Holliman, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Furniture Brands International, Inc. (NYSE: FBN) today announced the operations of Highland House, currently a division of Broyhill Furniture Industries, Inc., will be transferred to Thomasville Furniture Industries, Inc.
Broyhill and Thomasville are subsidiaries of Furniture Brands International. The transfer, which will entail no interruption or change in the Highland House operations, will be effective as of January 3, 1999.
