SAN DIEGO--(BW HealthWire)--Nov. 30, 1998--Maxim Pharmaceuticals (AMEX:MMP)(SSE:MAXM) today announced that it has initiated a Phase II clinical trial of Maxamine Therapy(tm) in the treatment of patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
The trial is being conducted in collaboration with the Umea University, Department of Surgery, and BioNative AB, a Swedish pharmaceutical company headquartered in Umea, Sweden.
