PLYMOUTH, Mich., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- DeMattia Group, one of Southeast Michigan's leading developers of commercial and industrial real estate, began work to convert an existing, underground parking structure into a data center capable of handling all University of Michigan communications -- from the campus-wide computer system to air conditioning and heat.
The new Information Technology Systems Center will also serve as a disaster-preparedness site to provide emergency back-up resources for the entire university should U-M's satellite systems fail for any reason.
