TOKYO, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Standard & Poor's today assigned public information ratings, or 'pi' ratings, to 13 Japanese banks, consisting of one semi-governmental bank, one trust bank, and 11 regional banks. Standard & Poor's has assigned single-'Api' ratings to 77 Bank Ltd. and Shoko Chukin Bank; triple-'Bpi' ratings to Akita Bank Ltd., Higo Bank Ltd., Hokkoku Bank Ltd., Kagoshima Bank Ltd., Ogaki Kyoritsu Bank Ltd., Oita Bank Ltd., Shiga Bank Ltd., Toyo Trust & Banking Co. Ltd., and Yamaguchi Bank Ltd.; and double-'Bpi' ratings to Keiyo Bank Ltd. and Tokyo Tomin Bank Ltd.
