Article: US Airways Reports Record November Load Factor, 4.7 Percent Increase in Revenue Passenger Miles.

ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- US Airways reported today that its November 1998 load factor was 69.2 percent -- an all-time company high for the month -- and an increase of 0.2 percentage points over November 1997.

Revenue passenger miles for November also were up by 4.7 percent over November 1997 while available seat miles increased by 4.4 percent for the same period. The number of passengers enplaned totaled 4.7 million, an increase of 3.2 percent over November 1997. The average passenger journey of 692.0 miles was up by 1.5 percent.
