NEW YORK, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- On December 7, Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) kicks off phase two of its innovative and successful Retail Choice Program with the distribution of a new informational brochure and the re-release of the popular "mailman" television advertisements.

The Retail Choice Program enables customers in Con Edison's service area of New York City and Westchester County to purchase electricity from other energy suppliers, while continuing to have Con Edison deliver the electricity. Con Edison customers already have the option to purchase natural gas from other suppliers.
