SAN ANTONIO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 7, 1998--Governor George Bush was greeted by hundreds of enthusiastic youngsters as he visited the New Frontiers Charter School today. Located in Southside San Antonio, the new public charter school opened last August, and is currently serving 516 children in kindergarten through grade 5. On hand to welcome the Governor were Chairman of the Board Melinda Wheatley; School Director Cynthia Castillo; and representatives of Advantage Schools, Inc., the School's contracted education management company.
