SAN ANTONIO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 8, 1998--Over 400 enthusiastic children and parents welcomed Governor George W. Bush to the New Frontiers Charter School yesterday. The Governor toured the facility and spent time reading to students in their classrooms before addressing the student body, parents, and community members.
The Governor was joined by Congressman Ciro Rodriguez, Congresswoman Debra Guerrero, State Senator Frank Madla, and State Representative Robert Puente. State Representatives Bill Siebert and Mike Krusee, who serve on the School's Board of Trustees, and Board Chairman Melinda Wheatley were also on hand to welcome the Governor.
