Company Will Sustain Voluntary Safety Initiatives
After CPSC Consent Decree Expiration
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently commended Polaris Industries Inc. (NYSE: PII) and certain members of the all-terrain vehicle (ATV) industry for development of an ATV Action Plan for consumer ATV safety.
In accordance with the Action Plan, Polaris will market or sell ATVs with engine sizes greater than 90 cubic centimeters only for use by persons sixteen or over. Polaris also monitors its dealers regarding this policy, as well as safety training requirements. The company's ...
