PITTSBURGH, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- SmithKline Beecham Consumer Healthcare and twelve state attorneys general have entered into an agreement to take one more step to fight the nation's number one public health threat. SmithKline Beecham (NYSE: SBH), the marketer of stop smoking products, has agreed to fund a $1.6 million public health education campaign to be administered by the States to provide information about the hazards of smoking and expectations about the quitting process.
