Rehabilitation practitioners are employed in a wide range of settings and provide a variety of services to individuals with differing disabilities. New financial incentives and growth for the rehabilitation profession are being created through rapid expansion of private sector employment in the health care and insurance industries (Habeck, Kress, Scully, & Kirchner, 1994; Shaw, McMahon, Chan, Taylor, & Wood, 1997).
