Dec. 21 -- ARCHITECT TARGETS D.C. FOR URBAN REVITALIZATION: Gregory Powe is right where he wants to be.

"I have a real love for urban environments," Mr. Powe said.

Three months ago, Mr. Powe put that affinity to work as the principal in charge of the D.C. office of Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn, an architectural firm that also has offices in New York and Los Angeles.

At EE&K, it's his job to focus on projects that foster urban revitalization.

The firm will concentrate on development in the waterfront and eastern parts of the city, said Mr. Powe, a licensed architect.
